About ThothGraph
What is ThothGraph?
ThothGraph is an AI visibility intelligence platform that audits how search engines and AI models discover, cite, and rank your brand. It scores every website or brand across three pillars — SEO (Search Engine Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) — by running multiple AI models in parallel, not sequentially. ThothGraph then provides prioritized recommendations, trend tracking, competitive benchmarks, and workflow integrations to help teams improve their visibility across both traditional and AI-driven search.
How is ThothGraph different from Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz?
Traditional SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Moz focus on backlinks, keyword rankings, and SERP positions. ThothGraph extends beyond traditional SEO into Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). It measures how AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude interpret, cite, and surface your brand in AI-generated responses. ThothGraph also runs multiple AI providers in parallel for every audit — Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic — producing cross-validated scores that eliminate single-model bias. No traditional SEO tool offers this multi-model, three-pillar approach.
Who uses ThothGraph?
ThothGraph is used by SEO managers extending their strategy into AI search, marketing directors who need unified organic and AI visibility reporting, agencies and consultants who need white-label multi-client management, and product and content teams who want to understand how AI engines interpret their pages. Plans start with a permanent free Explorer tier (10 credits/month) and scale through Neural Core (€99/month), Synapse Pro (€299/month), and Singularity Elite (€899/month) up to Global Enterprise with custom pricing, dedicated infrastructure, and SLA guarantees.
What AI engines does ThothGraph track?
ThothGraph tracks visibility across eight AI engines: Google Gemini (including AI Overviews), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Bing, Perplexity, Grok (xAI), DeepSeek, and Meta AI. For audit analysis, ThothGraph runs Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic models in parallel to produce cross-validated scores. The platform monitors how each engine cites, references, and surfaces your brand in their responses.
Is ThothGraph suitable for agencies managing multiple clients?
Yes. ThothGraph supports multi-workspace management with role-based access control (RBAC). Agencies can create separate projects per client, use project templates and cloning to onboard new clients quickly, invite team members with manager, editor, or viewer roles, generate white-label PDF reports with custom branding, provide branded client portal access on custom domains, and manage billing across all clients from a single workspace. The Singularity Elite and Global Enterprise plans include full white-label support.
Who founded ThothGraph?
ThothGraph was founded in 2024 by Razvan Baba, a Senior Software Engineer based in Bucharest, Romania. Razvan built ThothGraph to address the gap in tooling for AI search visibility — helping SEO, AEO, and GEO teams measure and improve how AI engines discover, cite, and rank their brands.
Audits and scoring
How does the multi-model audit work?
ThothGraph crawls your site using Firecrawl to extract page content, structured data, performance metrics, and network information. This data is then analysed by multiple AI models — Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic — running in parallel, not sequentially. Each model independently evaluates the data against SEO, AEO, and GEO criteria. The results are cross-validated through a multi-model consensus mechanism that eliminates single-provider bias and produces more reliable, defensible scores and recommendations.
What is the difference between Guest, Fast, Smart, and High Confidence audits?
ThothGraph offers four audit tiers. Guest audits are free, require no account, and provide a baseline snapshot covering performance metrics, Core Web Vitals, and basic AI-powered recommendations. Fast audits (1 credit) prioritise speed with core technical SEO checks and a lightweight multi-model pass. Smart audits (3 credits) trigger the full parallel multi-model analysis pipeline, delivering deep AEO and GEO recommendations, entity mapping, and comprehensive scoring. High Confidence audits (4 credits) add an adversarial multi-agent review with up to 8 specialised AI agents, dual-track claim verification, and an integrity certificate — the most rigorous and defensible audit tier. High Confidence mode requires Synapse Pro (€299/month) or above.
What is included in a free guest audit?
A free guest audit includes a Core Web Vitals snapshot (Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, performance score), HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 protocol detection, and AI-powered prioritised recommendations synthesised by the multi-model analysis engine. Guest audits are rate-limited to one per session and do not require an account. For deeper analysis including full AEO/GEO scoring, entity mapping, and trend tracking, users can upgrade to a paid plan.
How long does a ThothGraph audit take?
Audit duration varies by tier. Fast audits typically complete in approximately 2 minutes. Smart audits take approximately 8 minutes due to the full multi-model parallel analysis. High Confidence audits take approximately 10 minutes because of the additional adversarial Generator, Critic, and Judge pipeline plus dual-track claim verification. All audits run the AI models in parallel, not sequentially, which significantly reduces total processing time compared to a linear pipeline.
Can I audit a brand without a website URL?
Yes. ThothGraph supports two audit modes: website mode (URL-centric) and brand mode (entity-centric). Website mode crawls a specific URL and performs full technical diagnostics including Core Web Vitals, structured data validation, and crawlability checks. Brand mode analyses how AI engines perceive your organisation as an entity — no URL is required. Brand audits evaluate entity clarity, knowledge-graph alignment, AI citation patterns, and brand mention consistency across generative AI engines. Both modes produce unified SEO, AEO, and GEO scores.
What does the SEO score measure?
The ThothGraph SEO score measures traditional search engine optimization health, including technical SEO factors (crawlability, indexation, robots.txt compliance), Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT), structured data and Schema.org validation, meta tag completeness and heading hierarchy, internal linking structure, HTTP protocol support (HTTP/2, HTTP/3), and on-page signal quality. The score is weighted to prioritise factors with the highest impact on search engine rankings.
What does the AEO score measure?
The AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) score predicts how likely your content is to be selected as a direct answer by AI assistants and featured snippets. It evaluates answerability per query and topic, FAQ/HowTo/QA schema coverage, content structure and factual density, topical authority and content depth, featured snippet and AI Overview readiness, and direct-answer citation signals. A high AEO score indicates your content is well-positioned for AI Overviews, Google Featured Snippets, and conversational AI responses.
What does the GEO score measure?
The GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) score measures how effectively AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude reference your brand in generative responses. It tracks the GEO Visibility Index across AI engines, AI citation source and frequency, entity knowledge-graph alignment, brand mention consistency and accuracy, competitor AI share-of-voice, and hallucination or misattribution patterns. A high GEO score means AI engines accurately represent and frequently cite your brand.
Are ThothGraph audit results cached?
Every paid audit triggers a completely fresh analysis pipeline. Some pre-scan data (DNS, protocol detection) may be cached briefly for performance, but the AI evaluation always runs against the latest crawl data. Guest audits are rate-limited and may use cached results within a short window. Paid plans unlock higher volumes, deeper analysis, and guaranteed fresh evaluations for every audit run.
How often should I run audits?
For active optimization campaigns, we recommend running audits weekly or after any significant content or technical change. For monitoring, monthly audits are sufficient to track trends. ThothGraph supports scheduled recurring audits — you can configure daily, weekly, or monthly audit schedules per project. Each audit adds to your project timeline, allowing you to measure the impact of every change over time.
High Confidence mode
What is High Confidence mode in ThothGraph?
High Confidence mode is ThothGraph's most rigorous audit tier. It activates a multi-agent adversarial pipeline where up to 8 specialised AI agents — three domain-isolated generators (SEO, GEO, AEO), three domain-scoped critics, a consolidator, and a global magistrate — cross-examine every claim before it reaches your report. Each agent role runs on a different AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) to prevent single-model bias. High Confidence audits include dual-track verification and produce a verifiable integrity certificate. It is available on Synapse Pro (€299/month) plans and above and costs 4 credits per audit.
How does the Generator, Critic, and Judge pipeline work?
The High Confidence pipeline follows an adversarial debate architecture. In the first layer, three domain-isolated generators (one each for SEO, GEO, and AEO) independently produce audit findings using different AI providers. In the second layer, three domain-scoped critics pressure-test the claims produced by their respective generator, challenging unsupported assertions and flagging weak evidence. A consolidator then merges all critique streams with deduplication and conflict tracking. Finally, a global magistrate issues the highest-authority verdict with a debate confidence score and judge summary. This adversarial structure ensures that only well-supported, cross-validated recommendations reach the final report.
What is the integrity certificate?
The integrity certificate is a verifiable trust document produced with every High Confidence audit. It shows exactly how many claims in the report were fully supported by evidence, how many were flagged for review, how many were blocked as unsupported, and how many require manual disposition. The certificate includes per-track breakdowns (factual vs. prescriptive claims), blocked rationale buckets, and degraded-review flags if any agent encountered issues during processing. This gives teams and stakeholders full transparency into the reliability of every recommendation.
What is dual-track verification?
Dual-track verification is a trust mechanism unique to High Confidence audits. Track A evaluates factual and descriptive claims through strict evidence grounding — verifying that statements about your site's technical state, schema coverage, or performance metrics are accurate. Track B evaluates prescriptive and strategic recommendations against a Unified Truth Context, ensuring that suggested actions are defensible and not hallucinated. Mixed claims that contain both factual and prescriptive elements are atomised into separate premise and recommendation pairs before evaluation. This separation ensures that neither factual accuracy nor strategic soundness is compromised.
Which ThothGraph plans include High Confidence mode?
High Confidence mode is available on Synapse Pro (€299/month, 500 credits), Singularity Elite (€899/month, 2,000 credits), and Global Enterprise (custom pricing, 8,000+ credits). It is not available on Explorer or Neural Core. Each High Confidence audit costs 4 credits. On Synapse Pro, this means up to 125 High Confidence audits per month; on Global Enterprise, up to 2,000.
When should I use High Confidence mode instead of Smart?
Use High Confidence mode when the audit results will inform high-stakes decisions — board-level reporting, enterprise RFP responses, competitive positioning documents, or content strategy pivots. The adversarial pipeline and integrity certificate provide defensible evidence that stakeholders can trust. For routine monitoring, weekly checks, or early-stage exploration, Smart audits provide excellent coverage at a lower credit cost (3 credits vs. 4 credits per audit).
SEO analysis
What technical SEO checks does ThothGraph perform?
ThothGraph performs a comprehensive technical SEO audit including Core Web Vitals analysis (Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, Total Blocking Time), HTTP protocol detection (HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support), structured data and Schema.org validation, meta tag completeness (title, description, canonical, Open Graph), heading hierarchy and content structure, robots.txt and crawlability compliance, internal linking structure assessment, image optimization and next-gen format detection (WebP, AVIF), and JavaScript rendering impact on page performance. All checks are weighted by their impact on search engine rankings.
Does ThothGraph check Core Web Vitals?
Yes. ThothGraph measures the three Core Web Vitals that Google uses as ranking signals: Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), which measures loading performance; Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), which measures visual stability; and Total Blocking Time (TBT), which approximates First Input Delay for interactivity. Results include numeric scores, pass/fail thresholds based on Google's 'good' benchmarks, and specific recommendations for improvement such as image optimization, JavaScript deferral, or layout stabilisation techniques.
Does ThothGraph validate structured data and Schema.org markup?
Yes. ThothGraph validates your Schema.org implementation including JSON-LD, Microdata, and RDFa formats. It checks for Organisation, WebSite, Product, Article, FAQ, HowTo, BreadcrumbList, and other schema types. The audit identifies missing required properties, invalid nesting, and opportunities to add schema types that improve search engine understanding of your content. For AEO specifically, ThothGraph recommends FAQ and QA schema additions that increase featured snippet eligibility.
How does ThothGraph assess crawlability and indexation?
ThothGraph evaluates robots.txt directives, meta robots tags, canonical URL implementation, and XML sitemap presence. It identifies pages blocked from crawling, conflicting directives between robots.txt and meta tags, duplicate content caused by missing or incorrect canonicals, and orphaned pages with no inbound internal links. The audit also checks for crawl bloat from faceted navigation or parameter URLs and recommends consolidation strategies.
AEO — Answer Engine Optimization
What is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)?
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the practice of structuring content so that AI assistants and answer engines select it as the direct answer to user queries. Unlike traditional SEO which focuses on ranking in search result lists, AEO focuses on being the authoritative source that AI systems cite in featured snippets, AI Overviews, and conversational responses. ThothGraph's AEO analysis measures answerability, schema readiness, topical authority, and citation signals to help brands win the position-zero answer slot across both traditional search and AI-powered interfaces.
How does the ThothGraph answerability score work?
The answerability score predicts the likelihood of your content being selected as a direct answer by answer engines. ThothGraph evaluates sentence structure and factual density (clear, concise statements that AI can extract), schema markup coverage (FAQ, HowTo, QA structured data), source trust signals (domain authority, E-E-A-T indicators, citation patterns), content depth and topical completeness, and question-answer alignment (how well your content matches common query patterns). The score is calculated per topic area, allowing you to identify specific content gaps where competitors may be winning the direct answer position.
What is Featured Snippet readiness?
Featured Snippet readiness measures how likely your content is to appear in Google's Featured Snippets — the highlighted answer boxes that appear above organic results. ThothGraph evaluates paragraph structure (concise 40-60 word answer blocks), list and table formatting, heading-question alignment, schema support, and content freshness. Pages with high Featured Snippet readiness scores are also well-positioned for Google AI Overviews and similar answer-engine surfaces.
How does ThothGraph improve AI Overview performance?
Google AI Overviews (formerly Search Generative Experience) pull from authoritative sources to generate comprehensive answers. ThothGraph identifies what makes content eligible for AI Overview citation: clear entity definitions, well-structured factual claims, comprehensive topic coverage, authoritative schema markup, and consistent entity information across your site. The AEO audit provides specific recommendations for content restructuring, schema additions, and topical authority improvements that increase your citation rate in AI-generated overviews.
What schema types does ThothGraph recommend for AEO?
ThothGraph recommends and validates several schema types critical for Answer Engine Optimization: FAQPage schema for question-and-answer content, HowTo schema for instructional content, QAPage schema for community Q&A, Article and NewsArticle schema with proper author and publisher markup, Product schema with offers and reviews, Organisation schema with complete sameAs and contactPoint properties, and BreadcrumbList schema for navigation clarity. Each recommendation includes implementation guidance and priority ranking based on the potential impact on answer engine visibility.
Does ThothGraph track AI Overview eligibility?
Yes. ThothGraph evaluates your content against the signals known to increase AI Overview citation probability: clear entity definitions, comprehensive FAQ and HowTo schema, authoritative structured data, and topical depth. The AEO score breakdown highlights which pages are AI Overview-ready and which need specific structural or content improvements to qualify.
GEO — Generative Engine Optimization
What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the practice of optimizing your brand's presence in AI-generated responses from engines like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and Perplexity. Unlike traditional SEO which targets search result rankings, GEO focuses on how AI models perceive, reference, and cite your brand when generating answers. ThothGraph coined the GEO Visibility Index as a measurable metric for tracking brand representation across generative AI engines, covering citation frequency, mention accuracy, entity clarity, and competitive share-of-voice in AI responses.
What is the GEO Visibility Index?
The GEO Visibility Index is a composite score that measures how prominently and accurately your brand appears in AI-generated responses across multiple engines. It tracks citation frequency (how often AI engines reference your brand), citation accuracy (whether references are factually correct), entity clarity (how well AI engines understand what your brand does), mention sentiment (positive, neutral, or negative framing), and competitive share-of-voice (your citation rate compared to competitors). The index is tracked over time, allowing teams to measure the impact of optimization efforts on their AI visibility.
How does ThothGraph track AI citations?
ThothGraph monitors how eight AI engines — Google Gemini, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Bing, Perplexity, Grok (xAI), DeepSeek, and Meta AI — reference your brand in their generated responses. The platform analyses citation source attribution (which of your pages AI engines reference), citation frequency (how often your brand appears in relevant queries), citation context (whether you are cited as an authority, alternative, or example), and citation accuracy (whether the information attributed to you is correct). This data feeds into the GEO Visibility Index and competitive benchmarks.
What is AI share-of-voice?
AI share-of-voice measures the percentage of AI-generated responses in your industry or topic area that cite your brand versus competitors. ThothGraph tracks this metric across all eight monitored AI engines and displays trends over time. A growing AI share-of-voice indicates that your content, entity clarity, and knowledge-graph presence are improving relative to competitors. This metric is available in project-scoped competitive dashboards on Synapse Pro plans and above.
How does ThothGraph detect hallucinations about my brand?
ThothGraph identifies when AI engines generate inaccurate, outdated, or entirely fabricated claims about your brand — a phenomenon known as AI hallucination. The platform compares AI-generated statements against your verified brand information, structured data, and public knowledge-graph entries. When discrepancies are detected, you receive specific recommendations for the schema markup changes, content additions, and structured data corrections needed to steer the AI-generated narrative back to accuracy. In High Confidence mode, the integrity certificate includes explicit hallucination detection results across both factual and prescriptive claim tracks.
How can I improve my GEO visibility?
ThothGraph recommends several strategies to improve GEO visibility: ensure your Schema.org entity markup clearly defines your organisation, products, and people; maintain consistent brand information (name, description, founding date, location) across your website, Wikipedia, Wikidata, and third-party directories; publish authoritative, well-structured content that AI engines can easily extract and cite; build topical authority with comprehensive coverage of your domain expertise; and monitor AI citation patterns regularly to catch and correct hallucinations early. Project-scoped GEO dashboards track the impact of these improvements over time.
Entity and knowledge graph
How does ThothGraph map entity relationships?
ThothGraph analyses your Schema.org implementation alongside third-party mentions, knowledge-graph data, and AI engine interpretations to build a comprehensive entity relationship map. This map shows how your brand, products, people, and concepts connect in the eyes of search engines and AI models. The entity graph visualization reveals gaps where connections are weak or missing, helping you add the structured data and content needed to strengthen AI engines' understanding of your organization.
What is entity authority scoring?
Entity authority scoring measures how strongly AI engines associate your brand with specific topics, products, or expertise areas. ThothGraph evaluates schema markup completeness, third-party citation consistency, knowledge-graph presence (Google Knowledge Panel, Wikidata entries), content depth across claimed expertise areas, and cross-platform mention consistency. Higher entity authority scores correlate with more frequent and more accurate AI citations. Trend snapshots allow you to track authority changes over time. Entity authority features are available on Synapse Pro and above.
How does entity clarity affect AI visibility?
Entity clarity is the degree to which AI engines can unambiguously identify what your brand is, what it does, and how it relates to other entities. Low entity clarity leads to AI confusion — your brand being mixed up with similarly-named organisations, attributed incorrect products or services, or omitted from relevant responses entirely. ThothGraph measures entity clarity through schema validation, cross-source consistency checks, and AI interpretation analysis. Improving entity clarity through better structured data, consistent naming, and authoritative content directly increases both AEO and GEO scores.
Can ThothGraph detect entity confusion or misattribution?
Yes. ThothGraph detects when AI engines confuse your brand with similarly-named entities, attribute incorrect products or services to your organisation, or misrepresent your brand's relationship with other entities. The platform identifies these misattributions by comparing AI-generated statements against your verified entity information and structured data. You receive specific remediation recommendations — such as adding disambiguating schema properties, creating dedicated About/Company pages with clear entity definitions, or updating Wikidata entries to resolve naming conflicts.

How does the Jira integration work?
The Jira integration allows you to export individual audit recommendations directly as Jira issues. Each exported issue includes the recommendation title, evidence, pillar tag (SEO/AEO/GEO), priority level, and a link back to the source audit in ThothGraph. You can configure the target Jira project, issue type, and default assignee. The integration uses OAuth authentication and is available on Synapse Pro and above plans.
Projects and workflows
What are projects in ThothGraph?
Projects are the primary organizational unit in ThothGraph. Each project groups audits for a specific domain or brand, providing dedicated SEO, AEO, and GEO dashboards, a timeline of all audit runs, score trend charts, a prioritised recommendation roadmap, competitive benchmarks, task management boards, and automation rules. Projects allow teams to track visibility improvements over time and measure the impact of specific optimization efforts. You can create multiple projects within a workspace to manage different domains or clients.
Can I schedule recurring audits?
Yes. ThothGraph supports scheduled recurring audits with daily, weekly, or monthly frequency. Scheduled audits run automatically at the configured interval and add results to the project timeline. You can configure the audit tier (Fast, Smart, or High Confidence), target URL or brand, and notification preferences for each schedule. Scheduled audits consume credits from your monthly allocation. Audit scheduling is available on Synapse Pro and above plans.
How does the task management system work?
ThothGraph includes a Kanban-style task board that synchronises with audit recommendations. When an audit produces recommendations, they can be converted into tasks with status tracking (to-do, in progress, done), assignee management, and priority levels. Tasks are linked to their source audit and pillar (SEO/AEO/GEO). The task board supports viewer and client roles with read-only access, ensuring that team members and external stakeholders can track progress without accidentally modifying task state.
What automations are available in ThothGraph?
ThothGraph supports event-driven workflow automations that trigger actions when specific audit events occur. Available triggers include audit completion, score threshold changes, new recommendation generation, and scheduled intervals. Available actions include sending Slack or Teams notifications, queueing email alerts, creating tasks from recommendations, and triggering follow-up audits. Automations are defined per project and run server-side for reliability. Workflow automations are available on Synapse Pro and above plans.
Can I compare my visibility against competitors?
Yes. ThothGraph provides competitive analysis across all three pillars. You can benchmark your SEO, AEO, and GEO scores against competitors, compare AI share-of-voice (how often AI engines cite your brand versus rivals), identify specific areas where competitors outperform you in AI citation frequency or answer presence, and track competitive gaps over time through project dashboards. Competitive analysis is available on Synapse Pro and above plans.
Reports and collaboration
Can I generate PDF reports from ThothGraph?
Yes. ThothGraph generates professional PDF reports from any audit result. Reports include the full SEO, AEO, and GEO scorecard, detailed findings with evidence, prioritised recommendations, Core Web Vitals data, entity analysis, and the integrity certificate (for High Confidence audits). PDF generation is queued server-side for reliable processing. White-label PDF reports with custom logos, brand colours, and agency branding are available on Singularity Elite and above plans.
Does ThothGraph support white-label reports?
Yes. Singularity Elite (€899/month) and Global Enterprise plans include full white-label support. You can customise PDF reports with your agency's logo, brand colours, and domain. The client portal, email notifications, and dashboard can all be branded with your organisation's identity. Global Enterprise additionally supports custom domain hosting, so clients access the portal on your branded domain rather than thothgraph.com.
What is the ThothGraph client portal?
The client portal gives external stakeholders (clients, executives, partners) read-only access to specific project reports and recommendations. Portal users see branded pages with your custom logo and colours (on white-label plans) and can view audit results, score trends, and recommendation status without accessing the full dashboard. Portal access is scoped per project and supports annotation replies on client-visible discussion threads. Client portal access is available on Synapse Pro and above plans.
Can I annotate audit reports?
Yes. ThothGraph supports threaded annotations on audit reports. Team members can add internal notes, discussion threads, and action items directly on audit findings. Annotations can be marked as client-visible, making them accessible through the client portal for collaborative review between agencies and their clients. Annotation threads support replies and are linked to specific audit results for context.
Does ThothGraph support multiple languages for reports?
Yes. ThothGraph supports multi-language report delivery. The platform interface is available in English and Romanian, and PDF/email reports can be generated in the language configured for each project. Language preferences flow through backend job payloads, ensuring that server-generated PDF reports and email notifications respect the project's language setting rather than defaulting to the workspace owner's language.
Security, privacy, and compliance
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. ThothGraph uses enterprise-grade API deployments from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic where data zero-retention is contractually enforced. Your audit data, competitive intelligence, website content, and brand information are never used to train third-party AI models. All data processing occurs through API calls with zero-retention agreements, and audit results are stored exclusively in ThothGraph's encrypted database infrastructure.
How does ThothGraph handle data encryption?
ThothGraph encrypts all data at rest and in transit. Database fields containing sensitive information use Fernet-based column-level encryption. All API communication uses TLS encryption. Redis connections support TLS via rediss:// protocol. Production containers run with read-only filesystems, dropped Linux capabilities, and no-new-privileges security restrictions. Network segmentation isolates the proxy layer from backend services and databases.
Does ThothGraph support multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
Yes. ThothGraph supports TOTP-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) compatible with authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password. MFA adds a second verification step to the login process, protecting accounts even if passwords are compromised. MFA can be enabled per user from the account settings page. The issuer name displayed in authenticator apps is 'ThothGraph'.
What role-based access control (RBAC) does ThothGraph offer?
ThothGraph uses workspace-based RBAC with multiple role levels. Workspace owners have full administrative control. Managers can manage projects, run audits, and manage team members within their scope. Editors can run audits, manage projects, and modify settings. Viewers have read-only access to dashboards and reports. Client portal users have scoped read-only access to specific project reports and annotations. Admin users (promoted via server configuration) have access to platform-wide administration including user management, billing oversight, and system monitoring. Project-level role overrides allow finer-grained access control where needed. Role assignments are managed per workspace.
Is ThothGraph GDPR compliant?
Yes. ThothGraph implements GDPR-compliant data handling including user consent management with a cookie consent system, the right to data deletion with automated data purge capabilities, data retention policies (screenshots are redacted after 30 days, audit records are purged after 90 days unless flagged), encrypted storage for personal data, and GDPR-specific administrative tools for managing data subject requests. Transactional emails (such as password resets and security alerts) bypass marketing opt-out preferences as permitted under GDPR's legitimate interest basis.
What is ThothGraph's data retention policy?
ThothGraph applies tiered data retention: audit screenshots are automatically redacted after 30 days, and audit records are purged after 90 days unless specifically flagged for retention. Active project data is retained as long as the workspace is active. Users can flag individual audit records for extended retention when needed for compliance or reporting purposes. Global Enterprise plans can negotiate custom retention periods as part of their service agreement.
Does ThothGraph support custom domains?
Yes. Singularity Elite and Global Enterprise plans support custom domain hosting through Cloudflare Custom Hostnames. You can serve the client portal, login page, and dashboard on your branded domain (e.g., audit.youragency.com) instead of thothgraph.com. Custom domain configuration includes automatic TLS certificate provisioning and DNS verification. Branding (logos, colours, email footer) is managed at the workspace level through the dashboard settings.
What is ThothGraph's uptime SLA?
Global Enterprise includes a 99.9% uptime SLA backed by dedicated infrastructure, dedicated compute resources, and priority support. All plans benefit from encrypted data at rest and in transit, MFA support, RBAC, automated backups, and GDPR-compliant data retention. Platform status is monitored continuously and available on the system status page.
